Bringing city style to the shores of the Gold Coast, newly opened ‘Gentlemen’s Store’ Alfred’s Apartment, the most recent brain child of the next generation of Neilsen brothers is set to shape up the Sunshine State men.  Having previous successes in surf clothing, these guys have banded together to up the anti in Gold Coast culture, creating a youth oriented store mixing Ocean, Adventure, Culture and Class.  

Developed by Kris Neilsen, Danny Neilsen, and Matt Neilsen this gem features brands such as Vanishing Elephant, Art Park, Insight51, Uppercut Deluxe, Atlas, Akubra, Opinel, Astrodeck & DMS Surfboards. 

Co-owner Danny Neilsen proudly refers to Alfred’s Apartment as “The Gentlemen’s store that provide’s a one-stop shop for all the modern male’s needs. From getting a clean shave, a trimmed cut, to shaping a new board or  strapping on a new button-down”.

“We want guys to come by and we’ll help them out with whatever they need. Clothes, Boards, Music, the lot. We play only vinyl and the front room, which we have dubbed Alfred’s living room, has pretty much become a hangout with all our friends. It’s rad, we’re always stoked when anyone stops by for a chat”.

If you’re yet to visit Alfred’s Apartment picture this. A converted 1960’s style beach house littered with fine wood and raw brick, featuring various rooms full of menswear and accessories. A Barber Shop down the hallway, as well as a complete surfboard room, with some tweaked out arts & crafts. And for the daring, jump in the shaping bay and show the guys what skills [you think] you’ve got.
